  • Yes. MEI is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States. All donations — monthly, one-time, or scholarship sponsorships — are fully tax-deductible unless otherwise stated.

  • Yes. When giving, you can choose to invest in a specific area or allow us to direct your gift where it’s needed most.

  • No, any student can apply.
    However, TAY applicants (ages 16–24 navigating instability or independence) are a core focus because their needs are urgent and often overlooked. Your support helps us keep opportunities accessible to them without closing the door on others.

  • Each year we determine a responsible cap for how many scholarships we can support based on projected funding and historical needs.
    This ensures:

    • responsible fiscal planning

    • no student is overpromised support

    • continuity across their academic journey

  • Yes. Monthly supporters receive periodic updates about student progress, scholarship milestones, and the broader movement you’re helping build. (but no spam!)

  • Referrals are welcome from teachers, employers, mentors, community leaders, and adults who see potential in a young person.
